Not that you will want to dispose of a Collision Nebulizer every time you use one, but it is nice when you can always have a clean one when you need it. Our kit includes an interface to our 3/8" conductive tubing and five nebulizer cups. Additional nebulizer bottoms are available as consumables.
The dryer comes as a kit that includes a funnel fitted to the desiccant port. The view ports make it easy to see when the dryer is nearly full of crystals. The ends are threaded to receive 3/8" female pipe threads and are typically provided with hose barb fittings installed that are compatible with our 3/8" conductive tubing. We recommend using two dryers in series if drying particles generated from our Disposable Nebulizer Kit.
Electrically conductive tubing does not allow a static charge to build up, preventing electrodeposition of aerosol particles. The tubing has a maximum resistance of 100 ohms per foot and is typically far lower. When connected to a SPAMS 3.0 interface, the case ground of the SPAMS instrument will ground the tubing. The tubing is easy to route and stretch and comes sized for 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" hose nipples. We recommend the 3/8" hoses because they are compatible with our nebulizer and diffusion dryer.
